Who am I?
I am not the name I got at birth, not the place I was born, not the sign of my horoscope, not the color of my skin, not the amount in my bank account, not the school I attended, not the sum of my relationships, not the game I excel at, not the accident that changed my life, not the several languages I speak, not the accent I picked from home, not the degree I earned in school, not the person I became in marriage, not the religion I profess, not my job title, not my political views, not my changing moods, not my greatest accomplishments, not my worst mistakes, not the life I’ve lived, not the way I’ll die.
I am somebody, a walking, talking sack of blood, bones, and contradictions.
